Hailing from the infamous Crenshaw district of South Central Los Angeles, California where he was raised by his Nigerian father and American mother, Attorney Obinna Anum brings a diverse, street-smart, and personable approach to solving everyday legal problems. Mr. Anum revealed his budding natural talent at a young age, attending gifted magnet programs throughout grade school and excelling academically and athletically.
After earning a Bachelor's degree from California State University in 2010, Mr. Anum went on to pursue his legal education at Florida Coastal School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 2014. During law school, Mr. Anum developed his leadership skills by serving as president of his school's chapter of the National Black Law Students Association. His passion for legal problem-solving and zealous advocacy helped lead his team to a win in the school's intramural Mock Trial competition. Mr. Anum also served as a student clinician and interned with the Public Defender of the 4th Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Mr. Anum has worked extensively with many of the best attorneys Florida has to offer in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, business law/development, civil litigation, immigration, and tax law. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the National Bar Association, and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
