Obi Anum is a seasoned attorney with over a decade of experience helping clients protect their ideas, negotiate high-stakes deals, and navigate the legal landscape with clarity and confidence. Raised in Los Angeles in a tight-knit Nigerian-American (Igbo) community, Obi’s background gives him a unique cultural lens and a deep appreciation for perseverance, creativity, and community—values that guide every aspect of his practice.

Now practicing bi-coastally, Obi works with clients across Florida and California, with a focus on contract law, intellectual property, and legal strategy in the sports and entertainment industries. He’s especially passionate about supporting creatives, entrepreneurs, athletes, and professionals who are building something new and want to stay in control of their vision.

Before launching his practice, Obi spent years as a trial attorney handling complex litigation, including over 350 trials. His courtroom experience sharpened his negotiation skills, strategic instincts, and attention to detail—tools he now uses to help clients secure favorable deals and avoid costly disputes. He brings that same tenacity and focus to transactional matters.

In addition to his legal work, Obi is an active member of the Florida legal community and currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Jacksonville Bar Association. He is a proud father of four daughters and splits his time between Florida and his hometown of Los Angeles.
